On 27 June 2019, the director of the Development Centre “Democracy through Culture”, UNESCO ICH facilitator, senior researcher of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, Oleksandr Butsenko, was awarded, among other Ukrainian scientists, with a medal “People’s Recognition for Ukrainian Scientists 1918-2018” on the occasion of 100-anniversary of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The medal, founded by the International Agency of Rating Technologies and Sociologies “Golden Fortune”, was given out at the solemn ceremony at the Great Conference Hall of the National Academy of Sciences.
