As it was informed, since 28.10 to 05.11 2023, the exhibition “Ukrainian ICH: crafts, practices and traditions” took place in the Fredrikstad Museum, Norway. It was the joint initiative of the Development Centre “Democracy through Culture”, Norwegian Crafts Institute and Fredrikstad Museum, with support of National Commission of Ukraine for UNESCO, Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, and Dnipropetrovsk oblast military administration. The exhibition realizing to commemorate 20th anniversary of UNESCO Convention 2003 represented mistresses of pysankarstvo (eggs painting), masters of Petrykivka painting and kobza players from Petrykivka, Kyiv and Lviv Kobzar Tsekhs and National Union of Folk-Art Masters of Ukraine.

TV program during the exhibition and news in Norwegian media devoted to this event, were a proof of high interest to and solidarity with Ukrainian culture and Ukrainian art. And now, at the beginning of March, an extended illustrated article Håndverk i krigstid has appeared in the pages of well-know and popular magazine Norsk Husflid dedicated to Ukrainian pysanka and based on above mentioned exhibition.
