Spring magic stream

On 11April 2019, the exhibition “Spring magic stream” of pysanka painting artists-women, Tetiana Vlenenko and Liubov Ktitorova, is opened at the National Union of Folk Art Masters of Ukraine. The exhibition will present examples of Easter painted eggs typical for various regions of Ukraine.

Tetiana Vlenenko and Liubov Ktitorova are original and talented pysanka painters. The peculiarity of their creative work is that they use natural and not chemical dyes. Painters make traditional pysankas and create their own compositions. In 2015, the Publishing House “Svichado” published a book by Tetiana Vlenenko and Liubov Ktitorova “We use natural dyes for painting Easter eggs” which gives information about dyes used by our great-grandmothers for pysankas painting, teaches how to make these dyes and create incomparable pysankas.
